Russia bans direct sale of US Premium Standard Farms pork

Russian federal food quality watchdog Rosselkhoznadzor announced Tuesday (Dec 12) that it had struck the US Premium Standard Farms Inc from the list of companies allowed to supply pork to Russia for direct retail sale as of Monday.

Rosselkhoznadzor said Premium Standard Farms was now included in the list of companies allowed to supply pork to Russia only for further processing.
