Germany sees 0.7% rise for milk deliveries during Jan-Jul 2012

Germany's dairies bring in 17.512 million tonnes of milk in the first January-July period of the 2012/13 quota year, a rise of 0.7% from the April-October 2011 period.

The quota year had kicked off with substantially higher milk deliveries than a year earlier - milk intake in April-June was just under 2% higher on-year - but supplies have fallen back sharply since the beginning of the second half of the year.
