Ayurvet Limited manufacturing unit acquires WHO GMP and ISO certification

Ayurvet Limited has recently acquired WHO GMP compliance verification and ISO 9001-2000 certification for its new Indian manufacturing unit in Baddi, Himachal Pradesh state.

The plant's objective is to raise the quality standard in manufacturing herbal veterinary medicines and feed supplements. The manufacturing unit is spread over an area of 175,000 sq feet (16,258 sq metres) and has state-of-the-art facilities to manufacture powders, liquids, gels, emulsion bolus and capsules.

To extract herbs for manufacturing quality products, the plant is equipped with advanced technologies, including a quality control laboratory with modern and sophisticated facilities for chemical, microbiological and instrumental analysis. There are also automatic packing lines for liquids, gels, powders, capsules and bolus.

The plant facilitates monitoring and checking of the quality of raw materials, intermediate components and finished goods with packing materials, which is an integral part in assuring quality standards.

With WHO GMP and ISO certification, Ayurvet Limited, already a known name in the international market for providing safe, efficacious and scientifically validated herbal formulations for cattle, pigs,  poultry, aquaculture, pets and equine products, took another giant step towards becoming a strong participant in the global animal health care industry.
