CTB announces acquisition of Uniqfill International

CTB Inc. announced yesterday the acquisition of Uniqfill International BV in Meijel, Netherlands.

Uniqfill is a designer and marketer of chemical and chemical/biological air scrubbers for animal livestock and other applications. 

Air scrubbers are used to remove ammonia, undesirable odors and particulate matter from the air before it exits a pig house, poultry house or other type of facility. Uniqfill's air scrubbers are available in the Netherlands, Germany and other countries.

CTB intends to leverage both Uniqfill's and its own existing sales and distribution channels to meet the increasing demand for air scrubbers in Europe as well as in other regions of the world.

CTB creates automation, feed, and storage equipment for the poultry, swine, grain, and egg industries under such brand names as Chore-Time, Brock, and Fancom.
