USDA says 110,000 tonnes of 2006/07 corn sold to South Korea

The US Department of Agriculture announced Friday (Dec 8) private export sales of 110,000 tonnes of US corn for delivery to South Korea in the 2006/07 marketing year.

The corn marketing year began Sep 1.

The USDA reported export sales for the same amount of corn on Thursday also for delivery to South Korea.

US exporters are required to report to the USDA sales of 100,000 tonnes or more of corn made in the same day to the same destination by 3:00 pm EST (2000 GMT) the next business day, according to the USDA.
