China Live Hog Weekly: Hog market weakens despite stable pork carcass prices (week ended Dec 10, 2014)
In anticipation of increased pork demand in the coming period, slaughterhouses expanded production over the week, lifting pork carcass output by more than 1%. However, despite stable pork carcass prices, hog prices continued to drop as slaughterhouses suppressed prices while pork demand fluctuated.
