China's New Entrant Lysine Producer Hua Xing Medicines Factory Began Trial Production in Early December

Another new entrant to China's lysine producers club, Hua Xing Medicines Factory, has reportedly begun its 98.5%-lysine trial production early this month. According to market sources, the yield of the initial trial production was limited. 

Reportedly, Hua Xing's lysine production facility has been modified from its 1,500-ton penicillin salt production line. The modification and refurbishment of the plant have taken place since August this year. It will have an annual production capacity of 15,000 tons 98.5% L-lysine-HCL.   

Hua Xing Medicines Factory is located in Xinxiang city of Henan province, central China. It is the biggest penicillin salt producer in China with 3,000 tons of its penicillin salt products being exported in 2003, accounting for 25% of China's total exports.
