Brazil Aims To Be World's Top Exporter of Cattle Meat

According to the Brazilian association of meat exporters (Abiec), cattle meat exports amounted to US$1.36 billion over the Jan-Oct 2003 period, 39% more than the same period in 2002.

The volumes increased by 34,77%, to 1.24 million metric tons. The goal is to end the year with 1.35 million metric tons and an income of US$1.5 billion, and being the top in world exporter of cattle meat.
