Feed additive company Nuscience Group has acquired Metachem Nutrientes, which develops, produces and sells feed additives in Brazil, marking the company's first acquisition in the key feed market of Brazil.

With its own production of both powder and liquid feed additives, Metachem Nutrientes will be an asset for the Functional Feed Ingredients business unit of Nuscience. The company has a production site in Itupeva, close to Sao Paulo.

Metachem Nutrientes was part of the Metachem Group, which is trading raw materials for several industrial segments since 25 years. With this acquisition, Nuscience is further realizing its growth strategy based on both innovation and presence in emerging markets. This acquisition is the first foothold of Nuscience in this large and high-potential market.
