East China's Anhui province saw its grain output rise 560 million kg to 31.36 billion kg so far this year, compared with 30.8 billion kg in the full-year 2010, the National Bureau of Statistics said.
Meanwhile, North China's Shanxi province has produced 11.93 billion kg of grain so far this year, a filing from the local government showed.
Northwestern province of Shaanxi forecast that its grain output will hit 11.95 million tonnes this year, almost the same level as 2010, sources reported.
East China's Jiangsu province has produced a total of 33.08 million tonnes of grain so far this year, up 727,000 tonnes from a year earlier, according to the local government.
