Taiwan's MFIG buys 58,000 tonnes of corn from Marubeni

Taiwan's Member Feed Industry Group, or MFIG, bought 58,000 tonnes of US-origin corn from trading house Marubeni in a tender concluded Thursday, said a Taipei-based trader.

Shipment will be in the January-February period.

While 37,240 tonnes of corn will be bought at US$133.76/tonne, cost and freight, the remainder will be bought at 142.76 cents a bushel above the CBOT March contract.
