China Whey Weekly: Weak demand, ample supply hold prices flat (week ended Dec 7, 2014)
As abundant supplies resulted in strong competition in the global dairy market, US whey prices remained soft, helping to curb the import costs to China. This, in conjunction with poor hog feed demand, prompted Chinese traders to keep prices unchanged during the week in review.
