South Korea's KFA buys 220,000 tonnes US corn
The Seoul branch of Korea Feed Association, or KFA, has bought 220,000 tonnes of US corn in private negotiations, a trader in Seoul said Thursday (Dec 7).
The first shipment of 55,000 tonnes of corn will be supplied by trading house Cargill at US$212.10/tonne, and is scheduled to arrive at Inchon on April 25.
The second shipment of 55,000 tonnes will be supplied by trading house Louis Dreyfus at US$212.50/tonne, and is expected to arrive at Inchon on May 5.
The third shipment of 55,000 tonnes will be supplied by Cargill at US$213.35/tonne, and is to arrive on May 25.
The fourth shipment will be supplied by Louis Dreyfus at US$212.50/tonne and is scheduled arrive on June 5.
