Vietnam hit by new bird flu outbreaks
Six bird flu outbreaks in Vietnam's port city of Haiphong and Thanh Hoa province killed a total of 317 ducks and 37 chickens, the agriculture ministry said.
In response, workers have culled over 20,400 birds in both regions.
Meanwhile, 78 ducks and chickens were found dead of unknown reasons in Quang Ninh province, reports said.
About 2,000 birds were culled there pending tests for bird flu.
About 1.94 million poultry in Vietnam have been killed by the virus or culled since the renewed outbreaks in early October.
Vietnam has reported 93 human infections of bird flu of which 42 died.
