While DSM lifted its vitamin C price quotes in China, several producers in Hebei cut production amid stringent environmental controls. Hence, vitamin C prices surged rapidly during November even as demand from the aquaculture sector dwindled at a fast pace.

Chinas vitamin C market is poised to stay strong amid tight supplies. However, with feed demand slow, feed millers who have accumulated supplies will limit purchases during December.
