China's lysine market shows signs of stabilising

Lysine prices were stable to lower during the week ending December 4.

As soymeal prices tumbled after a momentary surge lately, the demand for lysine weakened while feed millers held back purchases.

Price quotes of 98.5-percent lysine stayed in the range of RMB8.80-9/kg.
Demand will likely pick up gradually during December with feed consumption improving and buyers stockpiling inventories in preparation for the Chinese New Year market.
