Chinese vitamin E producers keep prices competitive

Over the past few weeks, prices dropped substantially.

Global producers including BASF and DSM increased their price quotes for vitamin E by around 15% of late. However, most Chinese producers held prices competitive in order to move sales.

In Europe, spot prices of vitamin E dipped to the range of EUR7.70-8/kg.

Export demands for Chinese vitamin E will likely stay slow as most overseas buyers have accumulated ample inventories.
