Russia to export 12.5 million tonnes of grain by July 2008
Russia will export a total of 12.5 million tonnes of grain up to July 2008, Russian Agriculture Minister Alexei Gordeev said Tuesday (Dec 4, 2007).
"We see that the dynamics for grain exports has slowed. We have set an export limit of 12.5 million tonnes," Gordeev said.
Earlier Russian Prime Minister Viktor Zubkov said the total grain yield in 2007 would reach some 80 million tonnes.
