China Live Hog Weekly: Poorer-than expected demand softens prices (week ended Dec 3, 2014)
Pork demand was a lot weaker than expected, softening the prices of hog despite limited supplies. Over the week, pork carcass sales in major wholesale centres dipped 1.17% to 9,545 tonnes. Hog prices have softened 1.1% on average in China.
