China vitamin E market stays weak
Over the past few weeks, prices moved lower.
Buyers were not eager to stock inventories of vitamin E, which prices looked set to remain soft. Two major producers in China have held back price releases of late.
Price quotes of locally produced vitamin E were lower in the range of RMB97-101/kg.
Demand for vitamin E is likely to improve in the coming period but at a slow rate. With supplies abundant, the market is expected to stay weak.
