China Whey Weekly: Prices dip further despite higher import costs (week ended Dec 2, 2012)
Despite higher whey import costs with prices rising in the US, China's whey market continued to weaken over the week. Demand for whey was soft while small-scale farms' piglet inventories remained low. Over the past seven weeks, whey prices have dropped by 14% accumulatively.
