Azerbaijan's grain production to drop 12 percent by 2014

Domestic grain production will decline 12.2 percent to 2.57 million tonnes in 2014, according to estimates by the government of Azerbaijan.

This year, grain and legume production will total 2.9 million tonnes.

For the next few years, production is expected to decline to 2.43 million tonnes in 2010, increase slightly to 2.47 million tonnes in 2011, increase again to 2.5 million tonnes, before spiking up to 2.57 million tonnes in 2013.
