Taiwan MFIG To Seek Up To 60,000 MT US Corn Thursday

Taiwan's Members Feed Industry Co. will seek up to 60,000 metric tons of U.S. No. 2 yellow corn in a buy tender to be held at 0630 GMT Thursday, said a Taipei-based trader.

MFIG will buy one cargo of 40,000-60,000 tons of corn to be shipped either between Jan. 26-Feb. 9 from the U.S. Gulf or between Feb. 10-24 from the Pacific Northwest, the trader said.

Suppliers can provide 5% more or less of the tendered quantity.
