Indonesia imports bird flu vaccine from China
 

Indonesia has imported three million doses of China-made bird flu vaccine from Zhengzhou, capital of central China's Henan province.

This was the first time China exported bird flu vaccines to Indonesia.

Qian Yuan Hao Biological Co., Ltd, produced the vaccine. The company was a designated bird flu vaccine producer by China's Ministry of Agriculture. 

A Henan official said tests showed that the vaccine quality has met the standard of Indonesia's agricultural authorities.

Since 2003, Indonesia has been sourcing bird flu vaccines worldwide due to inefficient domestic production capacity.
