The price of both giant tiger prawn and white leg shrimp rose significantly, setting a new record for the shrimp sector. According to the Vietnam Association of Seafood Exporter & Producer (VASEP), the United States surpassed Japan to become the leading importer of Vietnam shrimp for the first time in the last 5 years.
