China sulphate additives market stays stable

Cupric sulphate

Hog population recovered gradually in China, lending support to the demand for cupric sulphate.

In the coming period, buyers are expected to increase stockpiles cautiously.

Zinc sulphate

Domestic demands for zinc sulphate showed little improvement during the period in review. Nonetheless, producers kept prices stable with the support of export demands.

As of November 29, ex-factory price quotes for zinc sulphate by major producers stayed in the range of RMB4,000-4,200/tonne.

Domestic demand is expected to increase during December.

Manganese sulphate

Prices of manganese sulphate remained firm with availability limited.

Ex-factory price quotes for manganese sulphate in the range of RMB3,700-3,925/tonne.

With supplies reduced and demand poised to rise during December, prices of manganese sulphate are seen stable to higher.

Ferrous sulphate

Even though export demands for ferrous sulphate remained soft, tight supplies helped to underpin prices.
Low availability together with improved demand will support ferrous sulphate prices to stay strong in the coming weeks.
