China sells 52% of wheat reserves

About 52% of China's wheat reserves have been sold at its weekly auction.

Trading volume at the reserve wheat auction has been above 300,000 tonnes for six straight weeks due to robust demand from flour mills.

Due to the government's release of reserve wheat, spot wheat prices have maintained stability recently but remained at high levels propped up by tight supply on the market.
