Indonesia to import 80,000 tonnes beef in 2013
In 2013, Indonesia will import 80,000 tonnes of beef equivalent, including frozen beef and beef from live cattle, slightly less than this year's quota of 85,000 tonnes.
According to Agriculture Minister Suswono on Wednesday (Nov 28), "This year the composition was 60% for live cattle and 40% for frozen beef", He added that the government had not yet decided on the make-up of the 2013 quota.
