China threonine prices lower on decreased feed use

Threonine prices in China continued to move lower, following more negative developments in livestock and poultry production and decreased actual usage of feed lately.
Transacted prices of two major local producers were generally in the range of RMB33.0-33.5/kg recently, while deals concluded with many feed millers were between RMB33.5/kg and RMB34.0/kg.
Meanwhile, transacted prices of imported threonine were generally in the range of RMB39.0-39.5/kg, down slightly from the previous week.
