China imported 7,967 tonnes of methionine in October 2005
China imported 7,967 tonnes of methionine in October 2005, almost unchanged from 7,899 tonnes in September.
From January to October, China's accumulative methionine imports totalled 59,054 tonnes.
In particular, China imported a total of 3,260 tonnes from Germany, Belgium and Spain in October, up by 1,200 tonnes compared with September. Methionine imports from the US totalled 1,000 tonnes in October, down significantly from 2,300 tonnes in September.
