China lysine prices fall 6% in three weeks

Lysine prices fell considerably during the week ending November 27.

As soymeal prices tumbled after a momentary surge lately, the demand for lysine weakened while feed millers held back purchases.

Price quotes of 98.5-percent lysine dipped to the range of RMB8.80-9/kg.

Lysine prices will likely stay stable following the recent dip as producers are making paltry profits or incurring losses.
