South Korea's MFG purchases 110,000 tonnes of South American soymeal

A total of 110,000 tonnes of soymeal likely to be sourced from South America in a tender for up to 165,000 tonnes which closed on Tuesday (Nov 27) was bought by South Korea's Major Feedmill Group (MFG).

Some 55,000 tonnes for arrival by May 25, 2013, was purchased at US$493.43 a tonne c&f from Glencore, traders said. Another 55,000 tonnes for arrival by June 15 was purchased at US$484.40 a tonne c&f from Nidera.

The tender sought soymeal for arrival between May and June.
