US poultry announces new vice president

The US Poultry & Egg Association named Paul Pressley vice president of the Poultry & Egg Institute.

As the new vice president, Pressley will provide overall strategic management for the institute. He will also be responsible for developing and implementing industry-specific human resources and employee education and training programs, risk management programs, and programs designed to assess and document the industry's personnel needs.

The association believes that Pressley's extensive knowledge of the US poultry industry, coupled with his experience in reducing risk via employee education and training, makes him a fully capable individual to lead the association.

Pressley was the director of risk management and insurance for Gold Kist in Atlanta for 22 years.
