China exports less lysine in October
China's lysine exports in October totalled 16,284 tonnes, down 1,287.5 tonnes from September.
For the period from January to October 2006, China's lysine exports registered 116,181 tonnes worth about US$101.75 million.
Exports to European countries totalled about 10,000 tonnes, while more than 2,000 tonnes were shipped to North American and South American countries. Exports to South-east Asian countries slightly exceeded 1,500 tonnes.
