China's Heilongjiang sees 16.7% rise of soy imports
 

 

China's Heilongjiang has received 1.70 million tonnes of soy imports in the first ten months of 2012, an on-year increase of 16.7%, according to the local branch of the General Administration of Customs.

 

The soy import value increased 21.8% on-year during the period.

 

In the first ten months of this year, the province imported 0.97 million tonnes of soy from Brazil, an on-year growth of 80.9%, while the imports from the US declined 35.3% on-year to 0.60 million tonnes.
