China Imported 6,691 MT Lysine in October, 2003

According to the latest statistics released by China Customs Authority, China imported 6,691 metric tons of lysine in October, 2003, showing a modest increase over the 6,626 tons in September.

Lysine imports from January to October totaled 62,898 tons, down by 7,899 tons or 11% versus the same period last year.

China exported a total of 279 tons of lysine in October. Lysine exports from January to October amounted to 7,067 tons, Customs data indicate.
