China lysine market shows no signs of recovering
Lysine prices moved lower during the week ending November 25.
One major producer announced that it would cut production in the coming period, but the news failed to perk up lysine prices as buyers stood on the sidelines while animal feed demand remained slack.
Price quotes of 98.5-percent lysine were softer in the range of RMB9.20-9.60/kg.
With soymeal market staying weak and livestock market recovery slow, feed millers are unlikely to increase lysine purchases in the near term.
RMB1=US$0.1630 (Nov 26)
