South Africa's October corn stocks drop to 5.799 million tonnes

At the end of October, South Africa's corn stocks fell to 5.799 million tonnes from a revised 6.572 million tonnes at the end of September.

The stocks included 3.530 million tonnes of white corn and 2.269 million tonnes of yellow, the South African Grain Information Service (SAGIS) said in its monthly bulletin on Friday (Nov 23).

It said total exports reached 997,000 tonnes at the end of October.
