Ukrainian grain exports plunge 74%

 

 

Ukrainian grain exports plunged 74% in the first 22 days of November compared to a month earlier, analysts said.

 

Outbound shipments slid to 296,000 tonnes from 1.14 million tonnes in October, researchers said.

 

Wheat exports totalled 134,000 tonnes, and the grain was sent to Egypt, Kenya, Israel, and Turkey, according to the researchers. Corn exports for Israel, Syria and Lebanon, were 50,300 tonnes, analysts said.

 

The country also exported 93,400 tonnes of rapeseed, mainly to France, the researchers said.
