Beijing's chicken price drops in November

The price of packaged chicken in Beijing's seven wholesale meat markets dropped by 0.2 percent to US$1.39/kg by mid-November.

However, the figure showed a 14.3-percent increase from last year, the Information Center of the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Agriculture reported.

The price of eggs was US$17.75 per case, increasing by 2.4 percent over the start of November, and by 5.3 percent year-on-year.
