US pork board offers information resources

 

 

The National Pork Board developed a pork terminology fact sheet and poster for in-store use for retailers.

 

The fact sheet and poster are designed to help US consumers and retail employees understand terms such as locally grown, naturally raised and organic.

 

A website was also created to help retailers connect with local niche pork producers. It contains information on cooking times and temperatures, storing and defrosting pork, the basics of pork cuts and recipes.
