China Soymeal Weekly: Increased supply weakens prices despite improved demand (week ended Nov 23, 2014)
Even though demand for soymeal improved, driving up weekly transaction volume by 20% to 562,700 tonnes, prices dropped significantly as supplies increased amid higher crushing rates. Crushers who enjoyed lower output costs due to cheaper imports of US soybeans slashed prices readily to entice buyers.
