Cherkizovo Group to double Bryansk poultry farm's capacity

Cherkizovo Group, a Russian agribusiness conglomerate, plans to double the capacity of its Bryansk poultry farm to 63,500 tonnes per year.

Investments in the first stage of the upgrade are projected at RUB1.8 billion (US$62.5 million).

The project is co-financed by Sberbank, said Cherkizovo.

Cherkizovo Group is one of the largest meat processors in Russia.
