Brazil and China to sign new trade agreement for poultry and pork
Brazilian Association of Animal Protein (ABPA) and China Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine Association (CIQA) have signed a new trade agreement for poultry and pork in mid-November.
Besides increasing trades for poultry and pork products between the two countries, under the new agreement, both parties will also be actively involved in the following procedures: exchanging of information, training programs, periodic meetings, consultations and visits, intercommunication of data and to combat fraud.
Currently, Brazil has 29 poultry processing plants approved for exporting to China.
