China's Lysine Imports Up 2,530 MT in October; Exports Rose by 590 MT

According to China's General Administration of Customs, China imported 9,557 metric tons of lysine in October 2004, up by 2,530 metric tons from September.
 
China's accumulative lysine imports from January to October totaled 62,685 metric tons, almost the same quantity compared with the same period in 2003.

China exported 1,879 metric tons of lysine in October 2004, up by 590 metric tons from September.
 
From January to October, China's accumulative lysine exports totaled 19,182 metric tons, a rise of 171% or 12,115 metric tons compared with the exports in the same period of 2003. In the month of October 2004, China's lysine products are mainly exported to Canada, the Netherlands, US, and Poland.
