Demand for pork continued to improve, albeit at a slow rate, while supplies remained stable, hence strengthening hog prices over the week. Pork carcass sales in major wholesale centres increased about 1% to 10,004 tonnes, surpassing the 10,000-tonnes mark for the first time since dipping below after September.
