According to the report Crop Protection China News, currently, China is the biggest pesticide production country and also a country with huge pesticide consumption due to its vast sustainable tillage area.

China is one of the pesticide production bases in the world now, with over 400 technical and over 3,000 formulations. Currently, its crop protection products are exported to over 180 foreign countries and regions, with a sound growth of export volume every year. Besides, the total value of China's pesticide market has accounted for over 5% in the world. The value of the global crop protection products market will grow with a Compound Annual Growth Rate (CAGR) of 5.4%, from US$48 billion in 2011 to US$71.3 billion in 2018.
