China ships first batch of frozen pork to Malaysia
China's Hunan province exported 10 tonnes of frozen fresh pork to Malaysia valued at US$47,800, according to Hunan Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine Bureau.
It is the first time that China has exported frozen fresh pork to this country.
Hunan province is famous for its swine production and exportation. It has resumed exports of frozen suckling pig to Singapore since this year, and continues to export pork to Philippines, Malaysia, and some other countries.
It has exported 1,320 tonnes of meat to Asean countries in the first 10 months this year worth some US$6.7 million.
