Japan's compound feed output down 2.8 percent in September

 
 

Japan's total compound feed output decreased 2.8 percent on-year to 2.014 million tonnes in September, according to data from the Agriculture Ministry on Friday (Nov 20).

 

In August, total output of compound feed for animals rose 1.8 percent from a year earlier to 1.929 million tonnes.

 

Japan is the world's biggest importer of corn, the main ingredient of animal feed in Japan. The US is the main supplier of corn for feed use.
