Biofarma inaugurates new production plant

Biofarma S.A., Impextraco Latin America's distributor for the anticoccidial product line (MONSIGRAN, SALIGRAN, MADIMPEX) which was recently introduced in the Argentine market, has inaugurated a new production plant in Rio Quarto, on October 16th.

This plant, with a total surface of 18,200 square meters, is designed for production of special feed and concentrates for piglets and young birds. The plant's modern technology is unique in its kind in Argentina and even in Latin America.

Biofarma is a company that has 25 years experience as supplier of premixes, feed and services. This company is focused on quality and on safety of the production process, thus traceability of all its products is ensured.

The continuous growth in the swine, poultry and cattle sectors allowed new investments to produce an additional 4,000 tons per month to attend to the domestic market, as well as exporting to Uruguay, Paraguay, Chile and Peru. Argentina, with a population of 40 million people, produces 1.1 million tons of poultry meat and almost 350,000 tons of swine meat.
